Springfield Partners for Community Action

Springfield Partners for Community Action
Springfield Partners for Community Action is the federally designated Community Action Agency (CAA) for the greater Springfield area, serving about 10,000 low-income people annually.

Our mission is to partner with people and the community as a whole, in a way that leads to economic stability, so that we all enjoy a better quality of life.

Established in 1964 under the Economic Opportunity Act, Springfield Partners is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, SOMWBA-certified enterprise. The agency has 49 years of experience providing services and advocacy to alleviate the conditions of poverty for area residents.

We do this through education and outreach, and by offering programs to help people build assets, obtain affordable childcare, get free home weatherization and tax filing services, and much more.

Executive Director, Paul Bailey

"...we have to box clever in the margins, and make the most of what we have."

Please Help!

New Beginnings could use some donations to support its mission of providing quality childcare. Click here to see how you can help. Thank you for your support!

SNAP Application Assistance

If you're looking to apply for food stamps (SNAP), we can help. A SNAP coordinator from the Food Bank of Western Mass. will be at Springfield Partners to help with applications twice a month.
